Amazon Advertising, A+ Pages
Amazon Advertising now plays a key role in driving sales and this may be because of the prominent position of the products on the upper fold of the search result. With the spend on advertising, we see overall growth in sales as every ad sales improve the overall ranking of the product.
We have worked with a Manchester-based Amazon Seller, Itsy selling a range of products helping parents through baby weaning journey from our travel food blender to teats that fit water bottles.
Our goal in this account was to improve A+ pages and drive sales. The market is a very competitive market with household brands like Tommee Tippee and Philips Avent along with other private label brands. We took on the challenge and helped improve sales within the first 3 months by 500% compared to the previous period.
What did we do?
We worked on A+ page improvement and created an Amazon advertising growth plan for the account.
A + Pages – We wrote the content and created A+ pages to help buyers make an informed decision. The key here was to give as much information as possible with regards to the usage of the products.
Amazon Advertising – We created an Amazon Advertising strategy to improve the presence with targeted keywords, targeted competing products and targeting complementary products. Along with advertising, we launched Amazon voucher codes to encourage sales at the start of the campaigns and this worked well as any vouchers give a “noticeable tab” during the search. With the sales increase, two of their products were ranked in Amazon best sellers which further helped improve sales.
We are now working towards improving their presence on Amazon Germany.
The Result?
- Launched 10+ Adverts with multiple targets
- 13% Total ACoS
- 35% of the total sales from ads
- 5: 1 ROAS in their Key products
- Best Seller ranking for two products
We’re very happy with the improvements made for Itsy to the various Amazon touchpoints for our customers, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing improvements in Germany too!
