PALMAT: Bol.com Advertising Sales Growth Case Study

Bol.com is the largest online shopping retailer in the Netherlands and Belgium, with over 55% of the population shopping at bol.com. The platform reaches a wide range of consumers, taking advantage of fast and free deliveries.

We’ve been working with one of our existing Amazon clients, PALMAT, to help them increase sales via advertising. We have seen great results. Bol.com has become the largest marketplace in 6 months. 

What did we do?

We created advertising strategies and campaign structures for all products and implemented them progressively over a few months. 

  • Created a mix of campaigns – auto and manual keywords. 
  • Created targeted campaigns by country and fulfilment methods. 

The Result?

  • 5 x times increase in total sales
  • 5% ads conversion rate with 10% advertising cost of sales ( ACoS)
  • 71% of the total sales from the Netherlands and 29% from Belgium
  • 40% of the sales via advertising
