Amazon Vendor Central Growth Case Study

Strategy, Product Content, A+ and Advertising

Amazon Vendor Central is a powerful sales channel for any brand. Being an invitation-only program, it is classed as a highly valuable channel and very often will generate thousands of pounds of revenue. 

As an Amazon Specialist Agency, we work with Amazon Vendors here in the UK and the US. We partnered with Pulsin back in November 2019 and we have been working closely to launch new products and grow sales via Amazon advertising since.

What did we do?

We started with developing a growth plan for the business, to give strategic direction in relation to Amazon. This incorporated monthly tasks like launching products, promotions and advertising along with ongoing troubleshooting tasks. 

  • Product Launch: We created content and launched products on Amazon. We also incorporated promotional and advertising strategies to ensure the product gained early success. 
  • A+ Product Pages: A+ pages bring the product to life and we created enhanced images and engaging content to improve customer experience.  
  • Product Promotions/deals: We used Amazon’s marketing recommendations and vouchers to promote Pulsin products and this played a key role in increasing sales and getting new customers. 
  • Advertising: We built over 100 campaigns in a process-driven approach including automatic targeting ads, followed by manual keyword-targeted ads and product/category targeting campaigns. Along with this, we leveraged Amazon Sponsored Brands to surface prominent brand position and Amazon sponsored display ads to increase product awareness. 
    • We also targeted competing products and created defensive campaigns to ensure as much exposure as possible.
    • We also created campaigns with highly effective keywords and high sales products just to give us focus on getting incremental sales. 

The Result?

  • Managed adverts for 40 + products and launched 20 new products 
  • Amazon choice and Bestseller tag achieved
  • Created content-rich A + pages 
  • 30% of annual sales are driven by advertising
  • 30% increase in Revenue based on Cost of Goods Sold YOY
