I was preparing Introduction to e-Commerce course for an open day at Torfaen Adult Community Learning centre when I stumbled up this eBay Video – Sarah’s eBay Story.

In this video Sarah tells her story on how she started selling on eBay. She says,

eBay helps to get bargains. Here first experience daunting, she had fear of getting things wrong. But she found, it was really easy to do. eBay gives step by step instructions and you can’t go run. She sold lots things on eBay, things that she doesn’t need; furniture, children’s clothes, clothes that she does not need any more, shoes that don’t fit any more. When a listing is reaching end of auction, it’s very exciting! You are eager to see with lot of buyers what price you are going to get.

First time when she sold on eBay, I was not set up with PayPal. She thought it’s another thing to fill out and it’s going to be confusing so she sold everything using checks and postal orders which is much harder work and takes lot longer. When she opened PayPal account it was so easy. To open an account, it takes you through step by step you can’t make mistakes.

When she sold on eBay, she packs things up so that it does not get broken. She used kitchen scale to weigh and eBay gives you guideline for postage. So you know what to charge.

Then she talks about her love with eBay mobile App. eBay does all the work for you. Just enter the data into the questions that they ask and everything is done.

Sarah strongly recommends selling on eBay. It’s so easy to do and it’s really rewarding.
