Google Trends is a good tool to find what’s in people’s interest within certain geographic region and time. It gives you a very easy to understand graph showing the trend of the term entered (or product).
Technically Google Trends tells us frequency of particular search term you’ve entered in relative to the total search volume. It shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume based on the region and time.
Generally what’s trending is a good clue for you to confirm if you should be selling certain products. Additionally, it also shows you other rising search terms relevant to the one you’ve entered. This is additional information which you can use to get understand popular related products.

Our behaviour can change and can go differ vastly to our traditional values and culture as we can see in this case and Google Trend is here to help.
