Adding city as your location target is one of the ways to optimise your Google Shopping Campaigns. The city may be major an urban area or an area with less shops or the one affected by climatic change ( very cold weather in Scotland compared to the rest of the country), the one with more spending power or densely populated with people who are your primary target. You may find these areas competitive in terms of click however, in order to maintain strong position in these areas you can set up a bid adjustment aiming to increase your sales.

Here’s how you set bid adjustment based on location and before you carry on with this please do set time to test the result.

  1. Click the Campaigns tab at the top.
  2. Choose a campaign.
  3. Click the Settings tab.

4. Choose the Locations and save.

5. Choose “Increase by” or “Decrease by” from the drop-down, and enter a number.

6.  Click Save.
