Have you come across “Report a Buyer” option on eBay? It is new functionality introduced by eBay recently on Feedback page. Thank you eBay for protecting sellers from few but rough buyers. eBay says:
“All eBay members – both buyers and sellers – should have confidence that eBay is a safe and fair place to shop. “
eBay built up buyer confidence using its extraordinary yet simple solution with The feedback forum which was in February 1996. This system has made it easier for sellers to sell to complete strangers. Both buyers and sellers could write their experience through this system in terms of positive, neutral and negative. However, eBay research suggested negative feedback written by sellers put off buyers from eBay. eBay took action, sellers were banned from leaving negative comments about buyers in 2008.
This was definitely good action however, sellers experienced few rough buyers writing inappropriate feedback. Here’s a moan page on eBay from the sellers “Why Cant Sellers Leave Negative Feedback ?” This did affect sales believe or not! And with new this policy sellers are now able to report inappropriate buying behaviour from their feedback page. Why not look at yours!
Feedback is the best online tool for letting other buyers know about your experiences with a seller and it is best to be honest.
