eCommerce Automation for Increased Productivity.

ecommerce automationThere a number of ways in which you can automate your ecommerce practices to help increase your productivity. So many different procedures can be automated so you can spend your time more wisely

Order Management

You can view and manage all your orders from one system, so there’s no more need to log into multiple systems to check your order updates. Manage your Amazon, eBay, Magento, Shopify WooCommerce orders from one dashboard, and sync in real time – Veeqo checks for new orders every 10 minutes, which means it will also update your web store or marketplace in real time. You can also use a barcode scanner with Veeqo to make scanning invoices and searching for products faster and easier with just one click, and cutting down shipping time.

Integrate with your other software

Veeqo inventory management software integration with the leading online accounting package Xero means you no longer need to manually import sales orders and purchases into your system from your web store, as it’s taken care of automatically.

Inventory Management

You can synchronize your inventory in real time between your  Amazon, eBay, Magento, Shopify WooCommerce  stores to prevent over selling. Veeqo inventory management software automatically links products from different channels by SKU code, but you also have the option to override and use the products matching tool to link products together manually. You can also export some or all of your products into a CSV, edit data in bulk and then import back into Veeqo to bulk update pricing.

Reorder Levels/PO’s

You can set minimum stock levels for products at the quantity you want to to re-order at. When you create a new purchase order you have the option to have it emailed direct to your supplier in PDF format and also book inventory against a purchase order which will then update your website and marketplaces.

Shipping Labels

Veeqo allows you to automatically batch print courier labels, which can save you up to 5 minutes per order. Its direct integration with Royal Mail means you bulk print your labels without leaving Veeqo, and it will also update your sales channel and email your customer with a tracking number. It supports all tracked and non-tracked Royal Mail services and you can print your end of day collection manifest as well. If you’re using FedEx, Veeqo will generate your shipping labels for you including the customer and order details and also provide a tracking number for the customer. This saves you logging in and updating these details manually. Create rules for an order to assign the correct courier and service, based on min/max order price, min/max weight, domestic/international, webstore/marketplace.

Purchase Orders

You can create and manage purchase orders and automatically email them to your suppliers through your inventory management software, sync them with Xero and easily see what you have on order with suppliers.

Sales Reports

With Veeqo dashboard and reports, you can see all the important facts and figures across all your sales channels, which have been automatically produced for you – no more time spent analysing and calculating to create your own reports. You can monitor and compare all your sales in a simple graph which can show you each web store or marketplace individually so you can see how they’ve been getting on, or use product band reports which let you keep track of each brand’s individual sales or compare them against each other in a graph.

Google Trends: Nativity Costumes Vs Frozen Costumes

Google Trends is a good tool to find what’s in people’s interest within certain geographic region and time. It gives you a very easy to understand graph showing the trend of the term entered (or product).

Technically Google Trends tells us frequency of particular search term you’ve entered in relative to the total search volume.  It shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume based on the region and time.

Generally what’s trending is a good clue for you to confirm if you should be selling certain products. Additionally, it also shows you other rising search terms relevant to the one you’ve entered. This is additional information which you can use to get understand popular related products.

Here’s an example:

This result did gave me a good idea that I should not be assuming that people will be looking for Nativity Costumes during November for their children’s school plays. I can see people are looking more for Frozen costumes compared to Nativity which was not the same last year.

Our behaviour can change and can go differ vastly to our traditional values and culture as we can see in this case and Google Trend is here to help.

Is Customer Service Key for Your Online Success ?

Is Customer Service Key for Your Online Success -

Selling online is definitely the way to go forward to increase your overall business revenue. It is obvious that selling Online increases your audience reach which is what every seller is aiming for. However, selling online brings a challenge – increased competition with new entrants and existing giants like Amazon.

It is not always possible to compete with new entrants and existing Giants with lower price. Alternatively, we can allocate our resources on creating better customer service to encourage repeat sales from existing customer base. Doing this helps you to create loyal customer base and you will reap benefit from customers lifetime purchase. Fighting for new customers with price you will only help you gain customers who are less likely to return as they look for better price somewhere else.

I would like to discuss one of my recent online purchase and my experience with their customer support when things went wrong.

Recently, I bought a gift from Amazon for a good friend of mine and asked amazon to deliver directly to his address.  They tried delivering using a thier own courier  “Amazon Logistics” You will see the parcel journey on next slide. Accidently, I gave wrong delivery address and the person at wrong delivery address refused delivery. Ultimately, Amazon got it returned back to its warehouse.

When I was notified about this return, I simply emailed Amazon customer service to refund the order which they did in  no time. I must say there was no hassle in getting full refund. I was a happy customer as I suffered no loss even though it was my fault for not giving correct address! Later, that day I bought the same item again and got the parcel delivered within estimated time.

As a caring online retailer, what would you do in this situation?  I was expecting to pay for the return and only get refund for the value of the item. In contrast the seller went out of their way to refund the order with no hassle and kept me happy. I have been buying from Amazon for past five years and would happily buy again without any doubt.

I gained trust with Amazon and Amazon gained a loyal customer. I must admit that I would not mind even paying some extra in future if that means I get better customer service.

Top Tip:

  1. Respond your Customer emails quickly
  2. Do not blame the Customer even if it is their fault
  3. Do not make Customer feel like they are losing out
  4. Offer the best solution taking Long-term Approach

Veeqo: Helping You Sell Efficiently on Marketplaces

Multichannel Software

As a growing online business selling through multiple channels like eBay, Amazon and your own Webstore it is best to consider syncing inventory to avoid overselling and yet making our entire inventory available for sale to both eBay and Amazon customers. If you are not selling through all Marketplaces, you are losing out a big chunk of your revenue!

It is nice to see growing sales and in order to continue the growth it is important to put our heads on sales strategy and find a system that can help you in these areas:

  1. Printing orders and Royal Mail labels from one screen
  2. Auto updating inventory after sales from all the channels
  3. Shipping multiple orders at one time
  4. Providing tracking numbers to your customers automatically
  5. Printing a list of stock to pick

When we are able to work on these efficiently with a system, we get plenty of time to think about how we can grow your online business. We can work achieve all these through “Veeqo” with a competitive price of £60/month if you are selling 1,000 products. As a new system we would like to try it out and like any other system Veeqo has free trial offer for a month.
