What Can we Learn from eBay’s Guest Checkout ?

I recently came across eBay’s Guest Checkout option and I am quite impressed how quick and it is! It is nice of eBay to give out this option for those who prefer not to register and simply want to “buy now” with out registration. You can still see your orders following the link in confirmation email and you will see your order details along with shipping status and tracking numbers.

I have put some slides together below to show this eBay’s Three Click Guest Checkout Process.

Checkout is a quite critical to any website and this is something you can implement if you own your website. I am confident that you will get higher number of transaction with Guest Checkout compared to Register & Checkout. If you happen to implement Guest Checkout on your website I’d recommend to use PayPal or Amazon Payments.
