To use Amazon’s Sponsored Product Dayparting feature, follow these steps as seen in the screenshot below: 

  1. Click on the “Campaign Settings” tab.
  2. Under the “Bid Strategies” section, click on “Schedule Rules”.
  3. Click on “Add Schedule Rule”.
  4. Specify the start and end times for each daypart.
  5. Enter the percentage of your regular bid you want to increase or decrease for each daypart.
  6. Click on “Create Rule”.


Testing and Optimising Your Dayparting Rules

Testing and optimising your dayparting rules is essential to ensure they work effectively for your product. You can monitor your sales after implementing new dayparting rules. You may need to adjust your rules based on your results.

In the example below, the rule was applied on the 22nd of November to increase bids by 15% Monday – Thursday from 0800 am to 0800 pm and as a result:

  • impressions and clicks increased 
  • orders increased

So, there is a positive result with this day’s parting rules.
